The Flash interactive movie below was created using SwishMax. This program provides the power of Flash at 1/4 the price. After designing the image in Poser it was imported into SwishMax where scripting was applied to create events. When you roll over a part of the body or head you will see text appear. Once you have rolled over the area you can click on the body part to hear the audio file associated with the text. The audio file helps in training the ear to hear the sound and gives an individual an opportunity to practice saying the word.
This type of interactive media can be applied to any form. Simply replace the image in the movie and attach the audio file that supports the image. If you are interested in creating this type of media for your own educational material, I will be posting all the files needed to create similar interactive movies. All you will need is to purchase Poser, SwishMax and an audio editing software.(I have used Sony Sound Forge for the past several yaers and find it to be a no brainer. However, you can find software that is free that will provide the same functions.)
